A delegation of the House of Representatives, consisting of the deputies Mr. On Sunday, March 24, 2024, the delegation will travel to Brussels to participate in the 71st Conference of the European Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Member States of the European Union (COSAC), which will take place between 24 and 26 March 2024 in the EP building, as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
Topics for discussion at the Conference will include the review of the European legislative period 2019-2024 and the prospects for the Council's strategic agenda for the period 2024-2029, gender equality policy and the representation of women and men in parliaments, the Open Strategic Autonomy with a focus on competitiveness and resilience, as well as democracy and the rule of law.
