The Department of Agriculture of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces the opening of applications from 3/03/2022 until 31/05/2022 for participation in the following Projects:
a) (p.b./1.2) Concession of Aid to beneficiaries of "coloured" agricultural oil for diesel used in vehicles for agricultural purposes - Farmers, Foresters.
(b) Granting Aid to Beekeepers for fuel oil.
Beneficiaries for participation in the Schemes are natural or legal persons or dioceses or dioceses or monasteries or churches or other ecclesiastical or religious organisations and foresters. Beneficiaries must be registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings or participate in the Extensive Subsidy Plan or the Capital Subsidy Plan of the Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency, for the year 2022 or be registered in the register of beekeepers of the Department of Agriculture. It is noted that all potential beneficiaries who are not registered in the Register of Farmers and Agricultural Holdings at the time of online submission of their application, will complete their registration in the selected e-Services "Application for aid for oil for agricultural use", after entering the number 00-201800000. Participation in the Beekeepers' Register for the year 2022 will be verified from the Beekeepers' Register database held by the Department of Agriculture.
It is also noted that all Beneficiaries for participation in the Schemes must meet the following requirements:
(a) For the Scheme Granting Aid to Beneficiaries of 'coloured' agricultural oil for diesel used in vehicles for agricultural purposes, the Beneficiaries must participate and benefit from the Agricultural 'Coloured' Oil Tax Scheme administered by the Department of Customs, receive 'coloured' oil for the relevant reference period and own eligible diesel vehicles (van, single-cab, double-cab, truck) which they use for agricultural purposes.
For the Beekeepers' Aid Scheme for diesel fuel, beneficiaries must be registered in the Beekeepers' Register of the Department of Agriculture and must keep a number equal to or greater than 50 beehives, be engaged in nomadic beekeeping on the basis of the most recent revision of the Register at the time of application and be the legal owner of an eligible diesel-powered vehicle (single-cab, lorry) used for nomadic beekeeping.
Applications must be submitted electronically via the 'Ariadne' Government Security Portal. Applicants will be notified by e-mail of preliminary approval or rejection of their application.
Interested parties can obtain information about the Projects from the website www.moa.gov.cy/da of the Department of Agriculture (topic: Oil Moving Plans) and the Provincial Agricultural Offices.
