Shivers of terror were experienced by a family in Zephyr on Sunday morning when they were awakened by a deafening noise coming from the home's balcony door.
When he went to see what had happened, he saw a bullet which had pierced the shutter, the glass, the curtain, and was stuck in the tiles of the bedroom in which his family was sleeping.
He immediately called the police and the Rapid Action officers took the bullet in order to be examined by the forensic laboratory.
