Zelensky shares another urgent video (not at the podium but recording himself at his desk), announcing that Russia fired 8 missiles at Vinnytsia Airport, destroying the airport completely. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also that Russian forces are preparing to bomb the city of Odessa on Ukraine's Black Sea coast.

"Missiles against Odessa? That would be a war crime," he said in a televised address. "It will be a military crime. It will be a historic crime," Zelensky said in a video, as the Russian army, moving from annexed Crimea further east, continued its advance into southern Ukraine, bombing several cities in the country.

"Russians have always come to Odessa and felt nothing but warmth and sincerity in Odessa," a bustling city of nearly a million people and a longtime favorite of Russian tourists, he said."

"And now what's happening? Bombs against Odessa? Artillery against Odessa? Rockets against Odessa?" he said indignantly.Zelensky also urged Russians to speak out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine and make a choice between "life and slavery."

"Russian citizens! For you it is not only a struggle for peace in Ukraine. It is also a struggle for your country," he added.

The Ukrainian president once again called on his Western allies to hand over warplanes to him. U.S. State Department officials said earlier today that Washington is "actively working" on a deal with Poland to send those fighters.

A few hours earlier, the Ukrainian president called on his country's citizens to fight back with all their might. "Ukrainians! In all our cities, where the enemy has invaded, go on the offensive. Take to the streets. We must fight every time we have a chance," Zelensky said in his last night's message to the people of his country and continued: "Ukrainians will not give their country to an enemy and I want to praise all those who resist and believe in this struggle."

"When you don't have a gun, but they respond with gunfire and you don't run... This is why the occupation is temporary. Our people are not backing down," Zelenski said. The Ukrainian president applauded the Ukrainian people's resistance and protests to the Russian soldiers who have invaded the country. "Every meter of our Ukrainian land recovered by protests is a step forward, a step towards victory," he added."

"To all those who can listen to us, whose memory has not been erased by propaganda, whose eyes have not been closed by fear, whose souls have not been deformed by cynicism - Fight!" he said, adding: "Fight for your rights! For your freedom, for Ukraine! Along with Kherson, along with Berdyansk, along with Kyiv and all other Ukrainian cities that value life and fear nothing. I know that many of you believed that Ukraine hates you. It is supposed to attack you. It is supposed to destroy you. The liars on Russian television talk about it every day. Liars. It's their job to lie to you every day. But that should not be your destiny.

They told you that we are destroying cities. Look at Kharkiv. Chernivin They were killing us. They were killing children. They did it before your eyes. Protect yourselves! Otherwise, it will take your life. Your homes."
