Her incredible story was told by 36-year-old Dana Wulin who was set on fire by a woman who was terribly jealous of her and it took her ten years to fully recover.

The perpetrator broke into her apartment in Perth, Australia in 2012, doused 36-year-old Dana Wulin with methylated spirits and set her on fire.

The woman mistakenly believed Vulin was sleeping with her estranged husband after she spotted the couple talking at a New Year's Eve party.

Vulin suffered third-degree burns over more than 60 percent of her body and underwent more than 200 surgeries and of course many years of rehabilitation.

Now, nearly 10 years after the horrific attack, the 36-year-old chose to share her incredible recovery in an unedited video on social media.

"It's not to sexualize myself, but more to show other survivors and people that anything is possible," she wrote in the caption of a video posted on Facebook. "I am so proud of how hard I have worked on my body and I feel stronger and more fit than I have ever felt in my life."

The 15-second clip shows her evolution from 2013 to 2016, before she was revealed at 36 in red lingerie.

Wulin said she created the video without any automatic enhancements, special effects or lighting to inspire other survivors.

"I carry it with a badge of honour, it's a point of difference and that's why I choose to show my body raw and unedited," she told Daily Mail Australia.

"What happened to me was the most cruel and evil thing, I was not allowed to have a voice or speech because of the trial. I remember being so desperate for the before and after - for me, as my story has been so public, I take that responsibility so seriously."

However, she pointed out that her transformation was not only physical and reached other milestones in the process of healing her physical and mental trauma.

"I've accomplished so much, I've become a writer, a speaker... I've completed a degree, there's more to my recovery than just the aesthetics part," she said.

It should also be noted that Vulin earned a master's degree in nursing and works as a nurse to help improve the scars of others. She also opened her own "I am D aesthetics" clinic, which stands for "I am deserving" ('I am deserving') in August last year, which offers cosmetic tattoos to cover scars from injuries or other surgical procedures.

"I am so grateful to be alive... for me it is such a great responsibility for the survivors," she said.
