Sampling points for rapid testing through the Ministry of Health's programme - 11 January 2022
Based on the decisions of the Council of Ministers, and in order to stop the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, in areas where access requires the possession of a SafePass, persons aged 6 years and older must meet one of the following requirements:
- Certificate of full vaccination.
- Proof that a person has had COVID-19 disease in the last 6 months.
- Certificate of a negative rapid test valid for 7 days for persons 6-11 years old.
- Certificate of a negative PCR or rapid test valid for 72 hours for persons 12-17 years old.
- Certificate of negative test, PCR with a validity of 72 hours or rapid test with a validity of 48 hours for persons 18 years of age and over, and at least one dose of vaccine where required by Order.
According to the decision of the Council of Ministers, only the following categories of citizens may be served in the mobile rapid test units of the Ministry of Health.[/B] Children aged 12-17 years, who do not have the consent of their parents/legal guardians for vaccination, may receive a free rapid test through the Ministry of Health's program.
[*]Individuals aged 18 years and older, who cannot undergo vaccination with documentation by a medical certificate, and after their request is reviewed by the Pancyprian Medical Association and the Ministry of Health and approval is given, which must be presented to the sampling unit. This category also includes pregnant women, provided that they have obtained approval from the ad hoc committee of the PIS.
[*][*] Persons vaccinated with the 1st dose of the vaccine, for the period required between the 1st and the 2nd dose of the vaccine.For verification purposes, the Vaccination Card must be presented.
[*]Individuals who havecompleted their vaccination regimen and have gone 7 months without receiving a booster doseuntil 15 January when the measure will be reviewed. For verification purposes, the Vaccination Card must be presented.
[*]Individuals who have received a booster dose of the vaccine but wish to be tested for health monitoring purposes or for other reasons. It is understood that the vaccination card must necessarily be presented.
[*]Persons who have a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 within the last 180 days but wish to undergo testing for health surveillance purposes or for other reasons. It is understood that the certificate of recovery must necessarily be presented.

In addition to the above evidence, it is recalled that all citizens must necessarily present proof of identity (e.g. ID card, driving licence, passport, etc.) for identification purposes.
For Tuesday, 11 January 2022, the rapid test sampling units operating through the Ministry of Health's screening program for the above groups of citizens only, will be located at the following locations:
