The Ukrainian president said today that the ongoing Russian offensive against his country shows that the sanctions imposed on Moscow by the West are not enough.
The head of state criticized for continuing to simply watch what is happening in Ukraine from afar, hours after new strikes by Russian forces in Kiev, in Zaporizhzhya and as air defense sirens sound in cities in western Ukraine, particularly Lviv.
According to the Guardian, in his speech today Zelensky continued to call on the neighbouring country for a ceasefire.
"Russia will have to talk with us sooner or later about how to end the hostilities and stop the invasion, the sooner this dialogue starts, the smaller Russia's losses will be," the Ukrainian prime minister said, according to the British newspaper.
