The 55-year-old father from Famagusta District was found by police in his office working normally and while he was positive for covid, who caused a disturbance at his daughter's school and assaulted a principal last Friday.

As the Cyprus

[/B][/B] Times[/B] understands, it all started last Friday when the headmaster of the 55-year-old's daughter's school asked him to pick up the pupil as she was a close case contact - she had positive incidents in her family - and instead of being quarantined she was in the classroom.

Then the father, who police say should also have been quarantined, allegedly went to the school and in a rage, cursed, threatened and assaulted the principal.

The case, according to Police Spokesman Christo Andreou, was reported yesterday to the police whose members immediately started looking for the 55-year-old, who was eventually found in his office working normally despite the fact that he was coronavirus positive.

Against the 55-year-old, as Andreou said when asked about it, both the offences of causing alarm and making threats, as well as the Infectious Disease Act, are being investigated.
