A visit to the Nicosia District Court is planned by the Nicosia District Court. "We will have the opportunity to see, to talk, but also to meet in the Court's premises" says Nikos Tornaritis
The Nicosia District Court of Nicosia is scheduled to be visited by the Legal Committee of the Parliament, in order to examine closely the problems of the logistical infrastructure, as well as other issues that concern the employees of the Court.
The visit was decided to take place on Friday, 25 February, after consultation and with the agreement of the Nicosia Bar Association.
"We will have the opportunity to see, to talk, but also to meet in the Court's premises", said the Chairman of the Committee and MP of DISY, Nikos Tornaritis, in his statements after today's meeting of the Legal Committee.
He added that "unfortunately, the logistical infrastructure at the Nicosia District Court is outdated and there must be immediate solutions and quality solutions".
He hopes that after the visit and through discussion with the people who work in the area on a daily basis, specific problems will be identified and solutions can be initiated, even on minor issues, in order "to improve the quality of the administration of justice."
