Anti-vaxxers threw mud at a Macron party official Watch the video
French politician Stéphane Clareau, who is a member of President Macron's ruling party La Republique En Marche, denounced today that over the weekend he was attacked by anti-vaccinators demonstrating against the health pass imposed by the country to deal with the coronavirus pandemic.
The attack on Clareau, which occurred on Sunday, came amid the popular anger that has erupted in France following Macron's statement that he wants to corner the unvaccinated by making life so difficult for them that they end up getting vaccinated against COVID.

Clareau is an MP for Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, a cluster of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean located near the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador, which is a French territory.
Obviously I will take legal action. Some people think the right decisions are not being made. We all receive death threats through the mail . At some point this has to stop, Clareau told France Info today.
Overseas Territories Minister Anique Girardin condemned the attack on Clareau.
A photo of the attack appeared on her Twitter account showing protesters throwing mud at the minister as he stood outside his home.
The attack on Stéphane Clareau outside his own home during a demonstration against the health pass is totally unacceptable. The images are completely shocking, the minister wrote.
