Vergina High School supported the 22nd annual Love Route of the Association "One Dream One Wish"

The students of Vergina High School supported again this year the 22nd annual Love Route organized by the Association "One Dream One Wish".

Specifically, the students collected the sum of 2.5 thousand euros in order to fulfill the wish of a child suffering from leukemia and today the Lyceum teacher Hara Economou-Papanika handed over the cheque to Margarita Chrysanthou, a volunteer of the Association "One Dream One Wish", in the presence of motorcyclists.

As Mrs. Economou-Papanika said, "465 students of the Vergina High School participated in this action, as it happens every year. Before the coronavirus pandemic, the students of the school made bracelets which were sold to raise money to fulfill the wish of a child suffering from cancer".

For her part, Margarita Chrysanthou, a volunteer of the "A Dream a Wish" Association, said that "the Association's goal is to grant wishes of children with cancer, to personally support their families and to provide psychological support to both the children and their extended family environment. With the participation of motorcyclists and volunteers, thousands of kilometres of selfless love have been recorded."
