The US moves its embassy from Kiev to Lviv "The embassy will remain in contact with the Ukrainian government."

Washington[/B] has decided to move the US embassy in Ukraine from Kiev to Lviv, in the west of the country in view of the dramatic acceleration of the deployment of Russian military forces on the border, the U.S. diplomatic chief announced on Monday.

The embassy will remain in contact with the Ukrainian government, but we strongly urge all U.S. nationals still in Ukraine to leave the country immediately, Anthony Blinken said in a statement.
