Unknown people broke into a house in Paphos and stole €7 thousand. Complaint by 30-year-old man - They gained entry through an unsecured kitchen window while the residents of the house were away

A case of burglary and theft of a sum of money of €7 thousand from a house is being investigated by the authorities in Paphos.

According to information from the Cyprus[/B][/B] Times[/B], a 30-year-old man from Syria, who lives with his family in Paphos, reported that unknown persons broke into his residence and stole 7 thousand euros in cash.

According to the 30-year-old's complaint, the occupants of the residence were absent from 6pm yesterday until 3am.

On their return they found that unknown persons had broken a closed but unsecured window of the kitchen through which they entered the residence stealing the money.
