Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba denounced on Friday rapes committed by Russian soldiers in Ukrainian cities.
Kuleba provided no evidence to back up his claims and Reuters was unable to independently calibrate the complaint.
"When bombs fall on your cities, when soldiers rape women in occupied cities and when we have numerous cases, unfortunately, of Russian soldiers raping women in Ukrainian cities, it is difficult, of course, to talk about the effectiveness of international law," Kuleba said, addressing an audience at an event at the Chatham House think tank in London.
"But this is the only civilizational tool we have at our disposal to ensure that ultimately all those who made this war possible are held accountable to justice," continued Culeba."
