Ukraine's Ministry of Information warned about "fake" video of Russian President Volodymyr Zelensky appearing dead.
In fact, it stresses that its rival side in the resulting war will take this action with the aim to disorient and spread panic.
"Russia will try to use video technology to create a video in which Volodymyr Zelensky declares his surrender. It will not be a real video, but will be created through machine learning algorithms. Videos created through such technologies are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. It's fake! Its aim is to disorientate, sow panic, despair among civilians and convince our troops to surrender."
