Ukraine's Foreign Minister says Kiev will not accept any ultimatum - He noted that civilian lives would be saved if Ukraine had fighter jets and more attack aircraft

Ukraine is ready to negotiate to end the war that Russia started more than two weeks ago, but will not surrender, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba stressed, signaling that his country will not accept any ultimatum.

Speaking at an online event organized by the nonpartisan, nonprofit organization Renew Democracy Initiative, Kuleba said civilian lives would be saved if Ukraine had fighter jets and more attack aircraft to destroy large military formations.

The chairman of the Renew Democracy Initiative is Russian former world chess champion Gary Kasparov.
