Under the headline "New lawsuits against our newspaper", the newspaper "Avroupa" writes in today's front page that "the lawsuit operation against Avroupa continues", noting that two more lawsuits against the newspaper's columnists were handed to them yesterday by "policemen" who visited the newspaper's offices.

As reported by the Press and Information Office, a new lawsuit was filed against the newspaper's director and owner Ali Osman, as well as one against the newspaper's secretary Mehmet Levent, for their article titled "The order came from above again", published on February 25, 2020.

According to the publication, the journalists are accused that their publications were intended to incite hatred or resentment or coldness against "justice" and "courts" or to belittle or embarrass or humiliate "justice" or "courts".

The newspaper recalls that six other lawsuits have already been filed last week against the newspaper, four against Sener Leved, one against Faizé Ozdemijler and one against Ali Osman.
