The "health ministry" announced 508 new cases of coronavirus from 20,978 examinations and 2 deaths.
All infections are in the community and of these 254 were detected in occupied Nicosia, 103 in occupied Kyrenia, 104 in occupied Famagusta, 11 in occupied Trikomo, 22 in occupied Morphou and 14 in occupied Lefka.
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic is 55,312 and 172 deaths were also recorded.
