The Ministry of Health announces that today, 6 March 2022:
2 deaths announced
They relate to:
- Male, aged 81 years, who died on 6 March
- Male, aged 94 years, who died on 6 March
Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 877.
129 COVID-19 patients
30 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/14 intubated, NICU: 16)
Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 55.04%
18 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be intubated due to COVID in ICU.
Diagnostic tests:
A total of 77,336 diagnostic tests were performed
1.730 new cases (total 333,238 cases)
Positivity rate in all tests 2.24%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
2.688 molecular tests
92 positive cases were obtained
Positivity rate 3.42%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):
74,648 rapid antigen detection tests were performed
1.638 positive cases
Positivity rate 2.19%
Tracing:
951 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and 77 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 8.1%)
Private initiative:
870 molecular tests were performed, 66 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 7.59%)
33 were performed.233 rapid antigen detection tests, 783 positive cases detected (positivity rate 2.36%)
Through the Ministry of Health programs, 41,415 rapid antigen detection tests were performed. 855 positive cases were detected.
Sampling sites: 38.526 rapid detection tests detected 777 positive cases (positivity rate 2.02%)
Other
Welfare homes: 79 rapid antigen detection tests performed, no positive cases detected (positivity rate 0%)
Closed facilities: 1.859 rapid antigen detection tests, 1 new case detected (positivity rate 0.05%).
