Police and fire brigade were mobilised in the early morning in the centre of Limassol.
Specifically, 10 minutes before 2am, a fire broke out that caused extensive damage to two cars, which were parked in the parking lot of an apartment building on Leontiou Street, while the masonry of the building was also damaged.
The vehicles belong to a 33-year-old woman and a 41-year-old woman.
The fire was extinguished by members of the Fire Service, while members of the Limassol Fire Brigade went to the scene for examinations.
Examinations continue at first light in order to establish the exact cause of the fire, whether it was set maliciously and which car started it.
