The number of Turkish Cypriots employed in the free areas of Cyprus is increasing as a result of the agreement concluded between the Türk-Sen guild and the SEK, writes Yeni Dusen.
As reported by the Press and Information Office, the newspaper said that in a written statement, Türk-Sen Guild President Arslan Bitsakli said that out of 130 people who applied 60 people started work in December and another 40 people are to start within the next few days.
Bitsakli noted that in addition to the tourism, restaurant and construction sectors, new job sectors have been opened and those interested in working in markets, cleaners, as tailors or as drivers will be able to apply.
According to Bitsakli, 70 people have been invited for interviews in January, 150 people on February 3 and 30 people on February 9. He said that those successful in these interviews will be hired.
