Reactions were caused in the occupied territories by a report on the Turkish TV channel TGRT by presenter Ekrem Achikel that "tdvk", as he called the pseudo-state, lives in luxury the minimum wage is 6,090 TL, the 13th salary is paid and there is a zero VAT rate.

According to the GMP, Halkin Sesi notes that the news did not mention at all the victimization of the occupied people due to the use of TL and an attempt was made to create an impression through the minimum wage, which has not yet come into force.

Reactions in the MDCs against the programme were strong, as the Turkish channel commented on the situation in the occupied territories without considering the purchasing power of wages and with a superficial approach. It even claimed that this week life is expected to become cheaper by 20-30%
