Dead two-month-old girl at Makarios Tragedy Transferred from Limassol after drowning during feeding All information
Sadness for the death of a two-month-old infant who drowned at Makarios Hospital.
According to the Cyprus Times, the infant was taken to Limassol General Hospital in the early hours of the morning by his parents as he appears to have choked while feeding.
The infant was immediately given respiratory resuscitation by the attending doctors and then transferred to Makarios Hospital where he was intubated in the children's intensive care unit.
The little girl expired a few hours later from severe brain damage.
According to reports, a autopsy is expected to be performed in the coming days.
