The Plenary Session will meet tomorrow but with the coronavirus and the onslaught of Omicron putting obstacles to the smooth conduct of the session, of the House of Representatives.
As MPs are expected to go to the Conference Centre to take a position on the referral of the law on a reduced VAT rate of 9% for the supply of electricity the virus appears to be forcing members of Parliament to stay at home.
Speaking on ANT1's "Mera Noon" show, DIPA MP Marinos Mousiuttas jokingly wondered how many people will be present tomorrow, since one after another members of Parliament announce that they are either positive cases or contacts.
The floor was taken by DISY MP Onoufrios Koulla who revealed on air that he was diagnosed positive and remains on self-limitation He said he is in good health and even noted that he planned to receive the 3rd dose in the next few days however the virus caught up with him.
It is recalled that Dimitris Demetriou, Fotini Tsiridou and DIKO President Nicolas Papadopoulos announced in the previous days that Dimitris Demetriou, Fotini Tsiridou and DIKO President Nicolas Papadopoulos had contracted the virus.
