While secure information wants delivery of the conclusion from the Legal Service to the family's lawyer Thanasis Nikolaou, the mother of the national guard declares ignorance of this development when asked to answer to the Cyprus Times whether the family finally received the conclusion and whether they started studying it.
However, the Attorney General yesterday reportedly, in a meeting with lawyer Loukis Loukaidis, handed over the conclusion -without names- while at the same time the four investigators who will carry out further investigations into the case, under the supervision of criminal investigator Antonis Alexopoulos, were disclosed[/B].
Same information says that the reason for the removal of criminal investigator Savvas Matsa - his public statements about the finding - was explained to the family's lawyer, making it clear that there is nothing behind this move.
A competent source from the Legal Service told the Cyprus Times that "there is unlimited respect for Thanasis Nikolaou's mother and we will do everything in our power so that more light can be shed on the case" a position reiterated to the family by the Legal Service through yesterday's reply letter to the parents.
It will be recalled that in a dynamic protest held last Saturday outside the Legal Service, the family of Thanasis Nikolaos, having the support of dozens of citizens, called for the return of Savvas Matsas to the new cycle of investigations in the case.
