Ο Πρόεδρος του Ρεπουμπλικανικού Τουρκικού Κόμματος (CTP) Τουφάν Ερχουρμάν επανέλαβε χθες σε δηλώσεις του ότι η στάση του κόμματος του όσον αφορά στη λύση του Κυπριακού είναι ξεκάθαρη και γνωστή σε όλους και σημείωσε ότι η φόρμουλα για τη λύση του Κυπριακού σε αυτή τη χώρα είναι αυτή της διζωνικής, δικοινοτικής ομοσπονδίας.
Σύμφωνα με την Detay, σε δηλώσεις του σε τηλεοπτικό πρόγραμμα του Kıbrıs TV στα κατεχόμενα, ο Ερχουρμάν ανέφερε ότι όλοι υποψήφιοι του κόμματος του για τις «εκλογές» στηρίζουν τη θέση ότι η βάση για τη λύση του Κυπριακού είναι η ομοσπονδία.
Pointing out that the Turkish Cypriot community is increasingly distancing itself from the international community because of the wrong policies being implemented, Erhurman said every country needs external financial resources to be able to survive.
He said the pseudo-state's external resources come from Turkey and the EU. We receive 30 million euros a year from the EU. What we are arguing is that the EU should provide us with much more financial resources. When we talk about equality, there should be economic equality," Erhurman said, arguing that the gap between the economic situation of Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots is growing every day.
