The Ministry of Health announces that today, 23 February 2022:
3 deaths were announced
They relate to:
o Male, aged 74 years, who died on 22 February[BR]
o Male, aged 77 years, who died on 22 February[BR]
Total number of deaths with a terminal cause of COVID-19: 833.[BR] 161 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in OCHS hospitals[BR] 36 in serious condition (ICU: 0 off ventilator/13 intubated, PICU: 23)[BR] Percentage of inpatients with no history of vaccination: 64.38%[BR] 23 patients who ceased to be infectious continue to be hospitalized intubated due to COVID in an ICU[BR].
Diagnostic tests:
A total of 96,880 diagnostic tests
A total of 2,167 new cases (total of 313 cases) were identified.406).
Positivity rate in all tests 2.24%
Total number of molecular tests (PCR):
6.183 molecular tests
Resulted in 319 positive cases
Positivity rate 5.16%
Total number of rapid antigen detection tests (Rapid Test):
90 were performed.697 rapid antigen detection tests
1,848 positive cases resulted
Positivity rate 2.04%
Tracing:
515 molecular tests were performed and 53 positive cases were identified (positivity rate 10.29%)
1.041 rapid antigen detection tests and 82 positive cases detected (positivity rate 7.88%)
Private initiative:
1,627 molecular tests performed, 171 positive cases detected (positivity rate 10.51%)
45.234 rapid antigen detection tests, 1,016 positive cases detected (positivity rate 2.25%)
45,463 rapid antigen detection tests were carried out through Ministry of Health programmes. 832 positive cases were detected.
Sampling points.063 rapid detection tests detected 78 positive cases (positivity rate 0.65%)[BP] Test-to-Stay: 4 were performed.534 rapid antigen detection tests and 55 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 1.21%)
Special schools: 92 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were detected (positivity rate 0%)
Other
Welfare homes: 1.168 rapid antigen detection tests, 11 positive cases detected (0.94% positivity rate)
Closed structures: 1 was performed.576 rapid antigen detection tests, 1 new case detected (positivity rate 0.06%).
Government services: 122 rapid antigen detection tests were performed and no positive cases were identified (0% positivity rate)
