Three killed in India warship explosion Unclear cause
Three crew members of an Indian Navy ship were killed in an explosion that occurred inside the vessel while it was at a shipyard in Mumbai.
The crew of the Ranvir vessel reacted immediately and brought the situation under control, with no significant property damage reported, according to a statement issued by the Indian Navy.
The warship Ranvir had been on operational deployment since November 2021 and after the ship repair work was scheduled to return to its base soon.The exact circumstances under which the explosion occurred remain unclear and an investigation has been ordered which has been undertaken by a committee of experts.
