Two more deaths have been announced by the Ministry of Health for the last 24 hours bringing the number to 3, as the death of an 88-year-old man was announced earlier.
In detail:
The 3 people who died with the final cause of death being attributed to COVID-19, are:
A man, aged 88 years, who ended up on January 14 at Limassol General Hospital.
A man, aged 62 years, who died on 15 January in the Intensive Care Unit of Nicosia General Hospital.
A man, aged 88 years, who died on 15 January in Famagusta General Hospital.
Consequently, the total number of deaths with the final cause of COVID-19 is 675, of which:
- 425 males (63%), and
- 250 females (37%).
The average age of those dying from the disease is 75.9 years.
