Tatar approved the new "cabinet" in the occupied territories
It was approved by the T/C leader, Ersin Tatar, the new "cabinet" of the three-party "government" of the CEC-DC-CA submitted by the chairman of the largest party of the coalition, the CEC, Faiz Suzhouoglu.
As reported in the occupied territories, Faiz Suzhouoglu remains "Prime Minister". PP chairman, Fikri Ataoglu remains at the "ministry of tourism and environment" while the third partner of the "government", chairman of the CA, Erhan Arikli takes over the "ministry of transport and transportation", where previously Rashmiye Eroglu Tsianaltai, daughter of former TC leader, Dervis Eroglu, was.
In the eight "ministries" belonging to the CEC, there has been redistribution and new appointments. In the "ministry of economy and energy", Kutlu Evren was transferred from "labour". Hassan Tatsoi was appointed to the "ministry of foreign affairs", replacing Tahsin Ertugruloglu.
Sunat Atun was transferred from the "ministry of economy and energy" to the "ministry of finance". To the "interior ministry" was appointed Unal Ustel, who had been left out of the "cabinet" in the previous CCI-DP "government". To the "education and culture ministry", Nazim Cavusoglu was transferred from the "agriculture ministry". Dursun Oguz returned to the "agriculture ministry" after his stint in the "finance ministry".
Ali Pilli remains "health minister", while another strong member of the JCC, Maj Gen Oguzhan Hasipoglu, was appointed "labour and social security minister".
On Saturday, the collective bodies of the three parties approved the cooperation by a majority.
Emerging from Tatar's office today, JCC chairman and "prime minister" Faiz Suzhouoglu reiterated that they want a stable, "long-lasting" "government". The members of the "cabinet", he said, have a lot of experience, adding, however, that - as he said at the meeting of the party's collective bodies - these names will not stay there for five years. After a period of time, he said, new names will come in who did not take up a post now.
All 24 of our friends, said Mr. Soutzuoglu, referring to the "deputies" of the CEC, are remarkable, elected by the "people" and can contribute without any shortcomings. They, he added, will participate in this process (ed: he means the "government") when the turn and circumstance comes.
Asked who will be the "president of the parliament", Faiz Suzhouoglu said that he will come from the CCI.
The CCI-DP-CA "government" has 29 "deputies" in the "parliament", where a majority of 26 seats is required.
Faiz Suzhouoglu was the 15th "prime minister" of the 25th "minority government" in the pseudo-state, after its illegal declaration, and perhaps the one with the shortest duration, having received a vote of confidence in mid-November 2021. It was a minority government of KIE PP with 23 seats in parliament. The vote of confidence received support from MPs who left the CL (3 in number). Early "parliamentary elections" in the occupied territories were held on 23 January 2022.
Suzhouoglu had received the mandate to form a "government" from Ersin Tatar about two weeks ago, on 8 February. This will be the 25th government of the pseudo-state.
