The Movement of Ecologists - Citizens' Co-operation completed the ballot counting process for the election of the Central Committee at the 12th regular Pancyprian Congress held on Sunday 06 February at the Municipal Theatre of Latsia in Nicosia.
The results of the elections for the Central Committee were as follows:
1. Efi Xanthou - 143 votes (59.1%)
2. Alexia Sakadaki - 140 votes (57.9%)
3. Maria Kola - 130 votes (53,7%)
4. Michalis Paraschos - 130 votes (53,7%)
5. Elektra Perdiki - 126 votes (52.1%)
6. Orestis Matsas - 110 votes (45,5%)
7. Kyriakos Tsimilis - 106 votes (43.8%)
8. Giorgos Eliades - 101 votes (41.7%)
9. Natasha Ioannou - 98 votes (40,5%)
10. Edmond Hawilla - 85 votes (35,1%)
11. Haris Iosifidis - 84 votes (34,7%)
12. Stavros Alabritis - 75 votes (31%)
13. Sotiris Christou - 72 votes (29,8%)
14. Savvas Nikiforou - 65 votes (26,9%)
16. Marios Chrysostomou - 65 votes (26,9%)
Runners-up. Chrysantoula Nicolaou - 65 votes (26,6%)
3. Andri Charalambous - 59 votes - (24,4%)
4. Nikos Ilias - 58 votes (24%)
5. Elpida Ioannidou - 57 votes (23,6%)
6. Alexandros Miltiados - 56 votes (23.1%)
The remaining members of the Central Committee have been elected in separate provincial assemblies held at the provincial level.
At the next meeting of the Central Committee, to be held on 13 February at 10:30 am under its new composition, the remaining members of the Political Committee and the Executive Secretariat (Executive, Deputy Executive, Head of International Relations, Financial Officer, members Mr.etc.).
