Conspiracy to commit a felony - Burglary of a building and theft - Two persons arrested

The arrest of two persons aged 52 and 41 years old, were arrested today by the police as part of an investigation into a case of conspiracy to commit a felony and burglary of a building and theft.

Specifically, around 11.30 this morning, a member of the Police noticed a vehicle which had been reported as stolen, lying parked in a car park in Paphos. In close proximity to the vehicle, there was a 41 year old woman and a 52 year old man, who allegedly admitted to driving to the location in question, in the stolen vehicle.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that the two suspects were involved in a case of burglary and theft, which had been committed a short time earlier at a warehouse of a depot located near the parking lot.

Court warrants were issued against the 41-year-old woman and the 52-year-old man, under which they were arrested and detained to facilitate interrogations.

Paphos CID is continuing its investigations.
