They tried to break into two ATMs in Paphos The alarm systems stopped the would-be robbers Paphos CID is investigating

A case of breaking into ATM machines is being investigated by the Paphos Crime Detection Department.

According to the Press Spokesman and Head of the Paphos CID Michael Nicolaou, on Wednesday on two occasions an attempt was made to break into ATM machine locks in Kato Paphos.

Immediately, Mr Nicolaou said the alarm systems sounded and the alleged perpetrators fled. Members of the Paphos CID went to the scene to collect documents while examinations are expected to be carried out this morning for the purpose of securing testimony.

The examinations are being continued by the Paphos Crime Detection Department.
