[Cyprus Times] They roamed around in a stolen car in Limassol loaded with counterfeit notes

Handcuffs on two young men in Limassol They were driving around with a stolen vehicle, fake banknotes and burglar tools

According to police, it was around ten thirty in the evening when police officers in Limassol stopped a car for checking.

Inside the vehicle they found burglar tools but also200 euro notes which were counterfeit. It was subsequently established that the registration plates of the vehicle did not belong to the car in question, which was stolen.

Police officers proceeded to arrest the two young men, aged 26 and 23, for a number of offences.

Police are continuing their investigations.
