A safe containing 600 thousand euros was stolen from the offices of a construction company in Limassol.

According to information from the Cyprus Times, it is a construction company owned by a 67-year-old businessman and located on Amathus Avenue.

As the 67-year-old reported to the authorities, this morning they discovered that a safe containing 600 thousand euros in cash was missing from the offices.

Members of the Limassol CID rushed to the scene and closed circuits were taken which were put under the microscope.

It cannot be ruled out that the theft took place over the weekend when the offices were closed.
