Sweeping investigations are being conducted by police in an attempt to get on the trail of the perpetrators and victim of the abduction that occurred this afternoon in Paphos.
A short while ago, members of the police spotted the black Mercedes in the parking area of an apartment complex in Tremithousa.
Searches are being carried out in the surrounding area to locate the occupants.
From the first moment the information about the abduction of a man was received, strong police forces rushed to the area of Diplarkatzias for investigations and evidence collection.
Information received by authorities from eyewitnesses indicated that in addition to the four persons who exited the vehicle and grabbed the victim after an altercation, other persons of African descent who were in the area intervened and created a shield around the vehicle to prevent any obstruction.

According to descriptions given to the police by eyewitnesses, it was a mercedes car, color black while they withheld the registration numbers held by the authorities.
Reports indicate that the victim of the abduction is a white male, and during the forcible transfer he allegedly lost his cell phone in the area.
