The two assault rifles used in the murder of Faliyali were found in a stream
The murder of Turkish Cypriot businessman Khalil Faliyali is still at the forefront of Turkish Cypriot news. Last night, Turkish Cypriot media reported that two Kalashnikov automatic weapons, a 9mm pistol, magazines and dozens of bullets were found in close proximity to the murder scene in occupied Agios Epiktitos.
The T/C press reports that the guns and bullets were found in a creek near the scene of the murder of Falialiali and the driver of his vehicle.
In a statement, the "police" said it was cooperating with the Turkish police and that six people had been arrested in Turkey as part of this cooperation. In the occupied territories, a total of four people have been detained.
The "police" also said that the weapons found yesterday were found to have been used in the murder of Falyali.
