Two different assassination teams have tried to kill Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but all attempts have failed, according to Times sources.
The Ukrainian president survived at least three assassination attempts last week, according to the Times of London. According to a report by the news outlet, two different groups have been sent to Ukraine to kill the Ukrainian president.
They are mercenaries from the Kremlin-backed Wagner group and Chechen special forces.
The Wagner mercenaries in Kiev suffered casualties during the attempt, while a source close to the group said Zelensky's security team appeared to be well aware of the attack.

On Saturday, an attempt on Zelensky's life failed on the outskirts of Kiev. Ukrainian security officials said a cadre of Chechen assassins was "eliminated."
Who provided information
But reportedly, the assassination plans were foiled when anti-war Russians within Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) provided information to Ukraine about the attacks.
"We received information from (Russia's Federal Security Service), who do not want to participate in this bloody war," Ukraine's minister of national security and defense told local TV stations, according to the Times.
Sources further told the Times that more than 400 Wagner mercenaries are in Kiev after its members entered Ukraine with a "kill list" of 24 officials whose deaths would cause chaos in the Ukrainian government.
