Students of the University of Cyprus will attend their classes live, from 14 February, if and when the epidemiological data allow it, following a relevant decision of the Senate, overturning the existing framework of the courses.
As reported in previous report of the Cyprus Times, the Senate of the University had decided that the courses of the Spring Semester, for the first 4 weeks, would be conducted remotely and in the 3rd week the situation would be re-evaluated in order to decide whether the courses would continue face-to-face, as was the case in the previous semester.
Therefore, the University Senate met this morning and decided the following.[/B]
-Reconfirmation of the above decision at the regular Senate meeting on 9/2, in case of rapid variation in the epidemiological picture.
-As far as the measures to be taken regarding the use of masks, rapid testing and everything else involved are concerned, there will be a thorough update by next week.
