The activist Ilias Gioni was sued by the president of the Thessaloniki police officers The controversial post

A post by the activist Ilias Gioni on his Instagram account provoked the reaction of the president of the Union of Police Officers of Thessaloniki, Thodoris Tsairidis, who sued him.

We recall that Elias Gionis is the one who published the names of those involved in the rape case of Georgia Bika.

In fact, the well-known activist has not stopped dealing with this case. He names entertainment establishments, which are indirectly or directly related to persons involved in the case of the alleged rape of the 24-year-old girl.

In his post today, he says that the president of EAYΘ is co-owner of a health club in the center of Thessaloniki. According to the same post, the store is owned by persons involved in the case.

What the president of the police officers claims

"A short while ago I was informed that this particular gentleman, who has been defined as the self-appointed savior of society and justice, involves me in things and situations that have nothing to do with me," says Thodoris Tsairidis in his post.

He then adds that: "The legal department of the association has already been contacted in order to take all legal and legal actions against him, because he insults both me personally and the institution I represent. I do not know whether there is another police officer - trade unionist involved, but the fact that his writings stigmatise and target me is obvious, as dozens of colleagues, journalists and citizens have already sent me this particular post. Society does not clean up with jungle laws Mr. Gioni."

New response Gioni

In a new post Elias Gionis comments: "In any court that arises I will not have criminal sanctions because in order to be a slanderer I have to know that what I quote is a lie and do it on purpose."
