In the wake of the cold snap brought on by the spike in cases in 1925, the Health Ministry and epidemiologists are coordinating new actions in an effort to limit the spread of the virus.

A competent source from the Health Ministry told the Cyprus Times that in the shadow of the negative record of cases, the Health Minister called an emergency meeting with members of the Scientific Advisory Committee.
According to the same information, the emergency meeting is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at 16.00.
The experts are expected to be presented with the new epidemiological data which will be evaluated, and the Minister will hear the recommendations of the epidemiologists for the possible implementation of new measures.
