To give some hope to hurting souls
A woman gave birth in a Kiev shelter to a healthy baby girl, named Mia.
This is the story of little Mia, who was born tonight in a Kiev shelter to give hope, not only to her parents, but to an entire nation.
With bombing raging in Ukraine's capital and tens of thousands of civilians, especially women and children, seeking shelter in metro stations and other relatively safe parts of the city, one woman gave birth in a Kiev shelter to a healthy baby girl, named Mia.
Former Ukrainian MP Hanna Hopko "posted" a tender photo of the newborn on Twitter, stressing that "Mia was born in a shelter this evening, in a stressful environment - bombing in Kiev."
And she added: "Her mum is happy after this difficult birth. When Putin kills Ukrainians we call on the mothers of Russia and Belarus to protest Russia's war in Ukraine. We defend lives and humanity !"."
