The Ministry of Health remind eligible citizens to receive the self-diagnostic test for COVID-19 (self-test).

Beneficiaries are citizens who have completed their vaccination schedule with two doses for the bivalent vaccine and one dose for the monovalent vaccine or have received the booster/3rd dose of vaccine and are also beneficiaries of the GHS, as well as children up to 17 years of age who have received at least one dose of vaccine and the period required to receive the 2nd dose has not elapsed.

a) GHS beneficiaries may pick up self-tests from GHS-contracted pharmacies upon presentation of proof of identification.

  • The package contains five selftests and people will have the opportunity to self-test to determine if they are positive for the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
  • In case of a positive result, citizens should contact their Personal Physician to refer them for a PCR test at the Public Health Clinics in their province of residence.

Citizens who are not beneficiaries of the GHS, but have completed their vaccination schedule in Cyprus, or have completed their vaccination schedule in another European country and are beneficiaries of the GHS, can collect the package containing the five self-tests from the locations below:
