The Council of Ministers has taken decisions on the new package of measures and in one of them Michael Hadjipandela announces to citizens what will apply in the immediate future.
As reported by the Cyprus Times, the Council of Ministers took the following decisions:
-Reduction of the number of people in gatherings in homes to 10 people from the current 20
-Maximum number of people in restaurants, event centres (+ weddings-baptisms) 200 people
-Maximum number of people at each table 8 people for catering venues
-Instead of PCR 48 hours before a traveller leaves for Cyprus, at 72 hours
-Instead of PCR by the Ministry in contacts, two rapid tests on the 3rd and 5th day after contact

-Return to schools 2 rapid tests instead of 1 in primary school students
-State quarantine for those arriving in the Republic of Cyprus who refuse to undergo PCR (mandatory for all and the cost is borne by the passenger)
Presentation of ID card along with Safe Pass
The above are the most basic among what will be announced at one time, by the Minister of Health, according to reports.
