The landmark project is expected to be completed within 2025
Work is progressing on MHV Mediterranean Hospitality Venture Group's ambitious development project, "The Landmark Nicosia", which is expected to be a landmark for Nicosia.
The landmark project, which is expected to be completed within 2025, is located in one of the capital's most central locations, marking the entrance to the city centre. It includes the refurbishment of the Landmark Hotel and its transformation into an ultra-luxury branded five-star hotel, as well as the construction of two towers on the hotel's open-air site. Specifically, it includes the construction and operation of an impressive 17-storey residential building consisting of 53 apartments in total and a 16-storey building with state-of-the-art office facilities. Both the residential and the office building will include underground and organised two-level parking areas. The modern and innovative architectural design will reflect the identity and scope of the project, making it a true landmark for the city.
This is a major investment by MHV Group, which will change the face of Nicosia, adding value to the urban landscape. The investment is expected to create hundreds of jobs, as well as wider development benefits for the city. This mixed-use development is also expected to attract prestigious and internationally renowned brands, which is part of MHV Group's strategy.
In a statement, MHV Group CEO Harris Michael said: "This is a gem of a project, not only for Nicosia but for Cyprus as a whole. A breathtaking project, inextricably linked to the history of the city, in a location that has always been a reference point and an integral part of its identity and its course through time. There is no doubt that the benefits for the capital will be manifold as it will give a strong boost to the city's development prospects". Referring to the MHV Group's strategy, Michael added that the MHV Group is implementing an innovative plan, which has as its basis for growth a commitment to quality service, provision of state-of-the-art services and implementation of high quality projects. "The Landmark Nicosia, remains in the heart of the city and we are confident that it will be the ultimate destination whether to live, work or enjoy unique moments," he noted.HTTPS:/CYPRUSTIMES.COM/WP-CONTENT/UPLOADS/2022/11/LANDMARK_2.JPG
