Ukraine has filed a complaint against Russia citing false allegations of genocide confirmed by the UN Court
The International Court of Justice in The Hague, the top court of the United Nations, confirmed on Sunday that Ukraine has filed a complaint against Russia, saying Russia's claim that it invaded Ukraine to prevent a genocide is false and asking the judges to order "provisional measures" to protect Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had said earlier on Sunday that he had filed an appeal with the International Court of Justice in The Hague. In a statement, the court confirmed that it had received Ukraine's appeal. It did not say when the case would be considered.
