The Cyprus problem, the pandemic and issues arising due to the ongoing epidemiological crisis, the economy and, of course, the marathon that begins before politicians and the media in view of the presidential elections, were among the issues discussed during the visit of a delegation of AKEL led by Stefanos Stefanou to the offices of MC Digital Media.
The General Secretary of AKEL, accompanied by MP and party representative George Koukoumas and his Office Director Marina Savva, had a meeting with MC Digital Media CEO Christos Maragos at the Group's offices in Limassol.
Messrs Maragos and Stefanou had the opportunity to develop a multitude of issues of concern to civil society and, at the same time, of concern to the AKEL leadership.
The key role played by the media, especially in difficult times such as these, the development of online information, the approach of parties towards citizens and how society views politicians today, as well as a number of issues related to the political life of the country that need improvement.
Mr Stefanou and the AKEL delegation toured the company's premises, offices and studios and had the opportunity to talk to the employees of MC Digital Media.
