Two friends of Alkis Kabanos who were present at the murderous ambush in the Harilaou area in the early morning hours of February 1, crossed the threshold of the interrogation office early in the afternoon.
One[/B] of the two friends of the 19-year-old was wounded during the attack, while the second one managed to escape.
According to GRTimes.gr, the two young men were asked to describe the chronicle of the murderous episode. Tomorrow, they, as well as the other young men who were in the company of Alkis, will be asked to identify the 12 accused.
The identification procedure will take place in the morning in a special area within the Thessaloniki Police Headquarters. The aim is to make clear the involvement of each of them in the bloody crime.
The 12th accused in the murder of Alkis
Meanwhile, the 22-year-old accused in the murder of 19-year-old Alkis, who was allegedly the driver of the third car and surrendered to police last Monday, pleads guilty before the 7th regular interrogator of Thessaloniki.
The 12th defendant denies he was actually involved in the crime. It was reported that he claimed that he did not abandon the vehicle and that he did not know about the weapons carried by his co-defendants - already temporarily detained - nor about the impending attack.
The trial of the 22-year-old for the pocket knife was postponed
At the same time, due to the inability of the defense attorney, the trial of the 22-year-old who surrendered for his involvement in the murder of 19-year-old Alkis was postponed by the Autonomous Single-Member Plenary Court of Thessaloniki.
After his surrender, a pocket knife was found in his car and he was prosecuted for violating the weapons law.
The accused asked for a postponement because his lawyer was absent. The court granted the request by setting a new trial date for next week. He is then expected to plead before the 7th regular interrogator handling the case of the deadly attack, in the Harilaou area.
Together with 11 other youths, he is charged with manslaughter with intent, completed and attempted manslaughter, assault with objects and other offences.
