The Ministry of Citizen Protection has complaints in its hands, according to which, some fraudsters attempted to put their cars into the Attiki Odos as if they were from those that had been immobilized, so that they could be registered and collect the compensation of 2.000 euros.

These cases were recorded by police officers in the area of Koropi and of course they were not allowed to enter the closed road. It is worth noting that Attiki Odos has cameras, while at the moment there are forces of the DIA team on the spot to monitor the area.

So far no arrests have been made, while the authorities are patrolling to prevent such incidents.

Impersonating PPC technicians and robbing them

At the same time, the bad weather and damage to the PPC network are being exploited by other perpetrators, who are posing as technicians under the pretext of robbing houses.

These men mainly target the homes of elderly people who have no electricity, telling them that they are PPC technicians coming to repair the faults, and then robbing them.
