Authorities in Larnaca were put on alert after information about a fire in a vehicle in the company parking lot.

According to police, around 4:20 am today, under unknown circumstances, a vehicle that was parked in a company parking lot in Aradippou went up in flames.

Members of the Police and the Fire Brigade rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire.

The scene remained under guard by members of the force for examinations at first light while at first sight it appears that the fire was caused by mechanical damage to the vehicle.
